A special EM ceramic is added to the activated carbon filter during the sintering process. Among other things, this ceramic reduces the surface tension of the water and the size of the cluster structures. As an absolute highlight, a water turbulence unit was installed in the cartridge. This means that most people describe the taste of the water as softer or rounder. Experience the first Carbonit filter cartridge with integrated turbulence! Based on the already proven cartridge EM Premium D, the EM Aquawhirler has an integrated whirling unit. This consists of high-quality POM material and is bacteria-repellent thanks to its special coating. This means that the risk of re-infection into the filter cartridge can be largely eliminated. The decalcifying cartridge improves the taste of cold and hot drinks (especially to improve the aroma of coffee and tea) and protects household appliances against calcification. The flowed through ion exchange resin, reduces the hardness of the water.The cartridge fits into the table top filter units "Mercuro" and "Jupitos" as well as the sub-filter housings of the “Vario HP” and “Pure"series. This cartridge is also compatible with all Alvito water filter systems. Use: The water flow should not exceed about 2 l / min., so that a noticeable decalcification is guaranteed. The possible duration of use depends on the degree of hardness of the input water. Depending on the raw water hardness up to 1.900 l (degree of hardness 5-10 dh) or 450 l (degree of hardness 11-25 dh) can be achieved as static quantity. The IFP KDF water filter cartridge from Carbonit is a combined activated carbon-KDF cartridge. It combines the special properties of a sintered activated carbon monoblock with the patented technology of a filter granulate certified in the USA by the NSF, KDF 55. The external activated carbon block of 1.5 µm fineness ensures the adsorption of organic pollutants dissolved in the water and the filtration of particles, while the KDF 55 in the centre of the activated carbon is used for the additional removal or reduction of heavy metals dissolved in the water. Anti Limescale replacement filter cartridge for the Mercury and Jupitos table-top filter housings and the under sink systems Vario HP and Pure series. This cartridge is also compatible with all Alvito water filter systems.The flowed through catalyst granules works on the seed crystal principle. This precipitate lime is bound to the seed crystals and floats in the water with away. The procedure serves to protect the line and devices. Limescale deposits are easier to remove after use but lime removal does not take place.Use: The water flow should not exceed about 3 l/min. be. When used with water in drinking water quality without coarse sediments, the catalyst granules sustains about 3 years. Coarse impurities in the water can cause the surface of the granules to clog and require rapid replacement. The installation can be done with reverse osmosis plants, like the AquaAvanti OSMO, either between tank and faucet or directly after the reverse osmosis membrane. When the water runs very slowly over the coral calcium immediately after the reverse osmosis membrane, the amount of mineralization is higher in this installation than between the tank and the faucet. Also as a additional stage to normal water filters AA Cacli can be used. The coral calcium is recovered off the coast of Okinawa under controlled and absolutely environmentally friendly conditions. For our cartridge, a coarse granule is produced, which has the optimal size and composition for drinking water mineralization. Note: The calcium granules were sterilized by heating. Installation should be carried out under hygienic conditions.

The KDF IFP Prime water filter cartridge is made from sintered activated carbon in combination with the KDF 55 filter material. It combines the special properties of a sintered activated carbon monoblock made in Germany with the patented KDF 55 technology from the USA. Naturally, this material is NSF certified. The external activated carbon block of 0.45 µm fineness ensures the adsorption of organic pollutants dissolved in the water (pesticide and drug residues, chlorine, endocrine disruptors, sediments, etc.). The KDF 55 filter granulate in the centre of the activated carbon is used for the additional removal or reduction of metal compounds dissolved in the water. Area of application For water filtration in kitchens and bathrooms at the point of use, particularly recommended for heavy metal contamination (iron, lead, nickel, copper, mercury, etc.). Pollutant retention Pollutants dissolved in water, odour and taste impairments are permanently removed by the activated carbon through adsorption. The pore size of 0.45 µm reliably retains particles and the above-mentioned pollutants. The KDF 55 ensures the removal or reduction of water-soluble heavy metals, has an antibacterial and anti-fungal and anti-algae effect and also reduces chlorine, pesticides and hydrogen sulphide.
