Replacement filter for the Showerfilter QW for protection against legionella from the well-known German quality manufacturer Carbonit. The filter is designed for use in drinking water. Simply unscrew the filter housing, replace the filter, screw it shut and your shower filter is ready for use again for the next 3 months and protects you safely against legionella. The service life is about 200 showers. After that, the filter should be replaced. Please note that the water flow rate of approx. 6 l/min (at 2 bar) is quite high for such a filter, but can slightly reduce the usual water pressure. Scope of delivery: One membrane cartridge

The filter is used as a stand-alone filter or as an extension to an existing filter system for the retention of viruses and bacteria. The water filter with the patented Ahlstrom Disruptor fleece filters effectively: Viruses (99.99%) bacteria (99.999%) Cysts (99.95%) microplastics and many chemicals based on the proven and patented filter material from Ahlstrom Disruptor ®. The installed Ahlstrom Disruptor® filter fleece is certified in accordance with ANSI/NSF 42 (02/29/2012). The Disruptor water filter is the ideal supplement when using filter systems that do not allow bacteria to be retained by themselves. Thanks to the practical 1/2’ IG/AG threaded connection, it can be used as a shower filter or with the appropriate adapters in many other installation situations to provide reliable protection against bacterial contamination. The high water flow rate of 12 litres/min is particularly noteworthy for showers, as commercially available shower filters are often only half that or less. Note: As a lot of water is used when showering, the capacity of the filter must be taken into account. The capacity is approx. 3000 litres. This corresponds to approx. 50 5-minute showers. It is also ideal when travelling to protect yourself from unpleasant surprises in the shower.
