The WatPass®  Resin Refresh concentrate reliably removes impurities of the resin of your soft water plant that could not be removed during regeneration. We recommend using the Resin Refresh cleaner every 12 months to ensure the function of your system and to remove stubborn impurities of the ion exchanger. Usage Simply add 10 ml of the concentrate per liter of softening resin to the brine shaft. (Example: For 10 liters of ion exchanger, use 100 ml of concentrate.)

BIRM® is a specially developed black filter granulate which is coated with manganese dioxide (MnO2) and oxidizes iron and manganese using catalysis and then filters them off. The BIRM® filter material is not exhausted if oxygen is dissolved in the water. The manufacturer states that a content of 15% of the dissolved iron is sufficient (1 mg / l Fe therefore requires 0.15 mg / l O2). This means that BIRM® does not have to be regenerated, just rinsed. BIRM® can also be used to remove manganese at stable pH values ??in the raw water of 8.0 to 8.4. However, the removal of iron at this pH is no longer optimal. The Sewage protection Valve  is used for contact-free water drainage into the sewer network. By connecting the overflow protection and waste water hose to two valves that rotate 180 °, there is no splash of water when it drains off. The air barrier ensures that the waste water does not come into contact with the waste water hose. This means that no bacteria from the sewage system can get into your drinking water pipe. Bacteria cannot be transmitted through the air. The waste water protection valve is placed vertically on the sewer connection.
