The KDF IFP Prime water filter cartridge is compatible with countertop and under-sink filter devices from Carbonit, WatPass®, Aqua Avanti, Alvito, Sanacell and many other manufacturers. It is particularly suitable for application environments with heavy metal contamination. The cartridge is manufactured by the German quality manufacturer Carbonit.

The KDF IFP Prime water filter cartridge is made from sintered activated carbon in combination with the KDF 55 filter material. It combines the special properties of a sintered activated carbon monoblock made in Germany with the patented KDF 55 technology from the USA. Naturally, this material is NSF certified.
The external activated carbon block of 0.45 µm fineness ensures the adsorption of organic pollutants dissolved in the water (pesticide and drug residues, chlorine, endocrine disruptors, sediments, etc.). The KDF 55 filter granulate in the centre of the activated carbon is used for the additional removal or reduction of metal compounds dissolved in the water.
Area of application
For water filtration in kitchens and bathrooms at the point of use, particularly recommended for heavy metal contamination (iron, lead, nickel, copper, mercury, etc.).
Pollutant retention
Pollutants dissolved in water, odour and taste impairments are permanently removed by the activated carbon through adsorption. The pore size of 0.45 µm reliably retains particles and the above-mentioned pollutants. The KDF 55 ensures the removal or reduction of water-soluble heavy metals, has an antibacterial and anti-fungal and anti-algae effect and also reduces chlorine, pesticides and hydrogen sulphide.
