Description of the filter cartridge
The Inline Viruses & Bacteria cartridge is capable of reliably filtering bacteria and viruses out of the water. This is achieved by means of a patented fleece using electroadsorption. Pesticides, drug residues and environmental hormones can also be filtered out of the water, as the fleece has an activated carbon coating.
Easy filter replacement thanks to bayonet lock
Close the water supply valve, turn the old filter cartridge clockwise and pull it downwards. Insert the new filter cartridge from below and turn it anticlockwise until it stops. Reopen the water supply. Done.
Use
The filter cartridge must be replaced after six months. In principle, up to 5,000 litres of water may be filtered within this period. However, it may be necessary to change it earlier if the water flow is noticeably reduced. This is usually an indication of an increased occurrence of fine particles in the unfiltered water. The new water flow rate is approx. 6 litres/min. at an ideal water pressure of 3.5 bar. Use only with cold water; protect from frost.
