The new NeoSoft Connect 5000 soft water system from SYR operates as a dual system. This ensures that soft water is reliably available even during the regeneration phase.   The system is optimally suited for single-family houses and multi-family houses up to approx. 12 persons. Automatic adjustment of the operating mode The innovative and intelligent automatic adjustment of the operating mode is a real highlight. The integrated turbine of the NeoSoft water softener continuously measures the water consumption, so that the intelligent system can always optimally adapt the operating mode to the water consumption. Whether ECO, STANDARD or POWER - the currently active mode is displayed in green on the 7 " touchscreen.  Salt tank with large soft-close lid and salt sensor Filling the salt tank is extremely convenient. When the soft-close lid of the system is opened, the tank light is switched on. A motion sensor is also integrated into the lid. When the lid is closed, the sensor automatically measures the salt level via ultrasound without contact. This means that you are always precisely informed when it needs to be refilled. There is no need to enter the salt quantity manually! Modern communication If the NeoSoft Connect is connected to the Internet via WLAN or LAN, it can be controlled via SYR App. In addition, the registered user receives push notifica when, for example, salt needs to be refilled. If the raw water hardness changes, NeoSoft Connect issues a warning. Statistics such as water consumption, a logbook, maintenance settings and execution - the NeoSoft Connect can be operated via touchscreen and in online mode with the SYR app via tablet and smartphone and guides you through each process with clear displays. For convenient maintenance or longer periods of absence (e.g. vacation), the softening system can be bypassed without interruption if required. Easy installation The NeoSoft Connect offers everything for a time-saving and safe connection, as rinse and overflow hoses are already firmly connected to the system. The sandwich connection flange is placed on the SYR universal flange. The flexible hose connections are mounted by means of a torsion-proof plug-in system. Then connect the rinsing and overflow hoses to the drain funnel included in the scope of delivery and fill in the regeneration salt. The installation checklist shows whether the installation has been completed in full. Saving money and resources With the system, there is a savings potential of several hundred euros per year for a single-family household. You will save cleaning agents, detergents, shower gel, hair shampoo, descaler for household appliances and additional maintenance costs for electrical appliances and installations in your household. The housing parts are made of impact-resistant thermoplastic, the rubber parts of ageing-resistant, hard-wearing elastomers. Low-lead, dezincification-resistant brass alloy and stainless steel are used for all other functional parts. The materials used comply with the recognized rules of technology. The plastic parts and elastomers in contact with water comply with the KTW guideline of the German Federal Environment Agency. Installation with prefilter If you already have a drinking water filter from the DRUFI system at the house connection, the connection is extremely simple. In this case, no installation work has to be carried out on the water-bearing system! The decalcification system is then simply screwed into the sandwich ( see picture 4 ) - DONE! A compact filter and softening unit is created from two fittings. And this is how easy it is Loosen the DRUFI, flange the connection fitting with integrated blending device, mount the DRUFI again and connect the two hoses of the SYR Neosoft Connect 5000, an additional flange is not required. Installation location The water softener is installed centrally behind the water meter system. To avoid malfunctions, the softening plant is effectively protected by connecting a drinking water filter (Drufi system) upstream. A pressure reducer must be connected upstream from a pressure of 5 bar. The water to be softened must be clear, free of solid impurities and free of iron and manganese (values within the scope of the TWVO). Maintenance As the softening plant works automatically, salt only has to be refilled regularly. According to DIN EN 806, Part 5, maintenance must be carried out at least once a year, or every six months in the case of communal systems. A maintenance contract through the specialized trade permanently ensures the safe operating function. We will be happy to explain more in a consultation. Some tips from our side: Please clean the salt container from incrustations at regular intervals and use only high-quality salt. According to the Drinking Water Ordinance, regenerating salt in Germany, must meet the purity requirements of: DIN EN 973 Table 1/Type A/Table 3. These are the most common causes of faults in water softening systems and are easy to avoid. This will prevent unnecessary, not inconsiderable costs that can be incurred by an installer or the factory customer service!
