Particularly compact Shower water filter QW for protection against legionella from the well-known German quality manufacturer Carbonit.
The filter is designed for use in drinking water. It is very easy to connect to your standard shower fitting with external thread (1/2") inch. It is simply screwed between the hose and the fitting or between the hose and the shower (1/2" internal thread / 1/2" external thread) and it is ready for use and protects you safely against legionella.
The housing is made of robust chrome-plated copper and is therefore not comparable with the shower filters commonly available on the market, which are made of plastic. Therefore, you also have a sustainable solution here, as the housing can accompany you for a long time.
Due to its compact size, it has a service life of about 200 showers. After that, the filter should be replaced. Please note that the water flow rate of approx. 6l/min (at 2 bar) is quite high for such a filter, but can slightly reduce the usual water pressure.
