Functionality

After your house water has been pre-filtered, in the BIG GREEN ™ it first flows through the outer filter cartridge (sediment & activated carbon and then enters the TAC filter. Microscopic seed crystals now form on the surface of the TAC granulate. These crystals envelop the im Water dissolved lime without changing it chemically. With this process, the lime in pipes and devices no longer adheres so strongly and even limescale deposits in pipes and devices are removed in a continuous process. With the BIG GREEN ™ you can Protect the entire piping system as well as large appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers and other hot water devices from limescale deposits without using salt.

Installation

The BIG GREEN ™ (patent number EP3636598) should be installed after the water meter and a house inlet filter (DIN 1988). A functioning equipotential bonding must be available in the house. The assembly of the very valuable device is very easy to carry out.

Maintenance & cartridge change

The device is almost maintenance-free and should only be cleaned every time the filter is changed. The service life of the sediment & activated carbon unit is normally 6-12 months, that of the TAC unit at least 3 years.
