Domestic water inlet filter for sediment and particle filtration with integrated pressure reducer including the matching automatic backwash system in the nominal connection size 1" inch from WatPass®.
Produktinformation "WatPass® backwash filter & pressure reducer DN 25 / 1" & automatic backwash system"

The WatPass® domestic water inlet filter with integrated pressure reducer and pressure gauge is designed for the filtration of drinking and process water. We supply it here with the appropriate automatic backwash system. With 90µm it filters especially fine. It protects your water pipes and the rest of the installation with the connected water-carrying devices from corrosion and functional damage. This is often caused by foreign particles such as rust, sand, lime and other particles which the WatPass filters reliably. The flow-optimized filter is made of high-strength, technical plastic.

Another great advantage of this water filter is that it has a continuously adjustable, sound-tested, pressure reducer, as well as a pressure gauge controlling the water pressure. If you set the backwash automatic to approx. every 4-8 weeks backwash interval, the filter will thank you with a good flow rate. Contamination due to the build-up of a biofilm in front of the filter is almost impossible. At the latest when the water pressure in the pipe decreases due to increasing contamination of the filter, a backwash should be carried out.

How does this work?

When the automatic backwash system is triggered, sediments are flushed out into the permanently connected outlet. In the process, the water flows through the filter element in the opposite direction and flushes the contaminated filter element free. The water consumption for backwashing is very low. The backwash process should last approximately 5-10 seconds, depending on the degree of contamination. Since the WatPass house entrance filter has a rotatable connection element, it can be installed horizontally as well as vertically. This makes installation very easy and fits in almost any installation situation.

WatPass® Automatic Backwash Operating Modes

  • backwash filter can be powered by electricity and/or battery
  • backwash setting 1-99 days; hours are also possible
  • backwash duration 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 seconds adjustable
  • immediate backwashing is possible at any time
  • optimally suitable for drinking water

Please note: The filter cannot be used with chemically treated circuit water and if oils, greases, solvents, soaps and other lubricating media are present in the water. Furthermore, it is not suitable for the separation of water-soluble substances and very coarse dirt particle loads.
