Thus, the taste of the water is described by most people as softer or rounder.Filter change: Close the water supply valve, unscrew the old filter cartridge in a clockwise direction and pull it downwards. Insert the new filter cartridge from below and screw it in counterclockwise until it stops. Reopen the water supply. Use: The filter cartridge must be changed after six months. Thus, the taste of the water is described by most people as softer or rounder. The filter cartridges type IFP are ideal for the retention of possible pollutants in drinking water systems. Pollutants of anthropogenic origin, which could accumulate in the organism, are reliably removed and stored. The IFP activated carbon filter block has a commercially available, thin wall for liquid treatment at low line pressure. Use: The filter cartridge must be changed after six months. The cartridge must be changed, if the typical chalk appearances like a film is built on the surface of the tea beverage, loss of tea aroma / coffee or calcification deposits on surfaces. The IFP KDF water filter cartridge from Carbonit is a combined activated carbon-KDF cartridge. It combines the special properties of a sintered activated carbon monoblock with the patented technology of a filter granulate certified in the USA by the NSF, KDF 55. The external activated carbon block of 1.5 µm fineness ensures the adsorption of organic pollutants dissolved in the water and the filtration of particles, while the KDF 55 in the centre of the activated carbon is used for the additional removal or reduction of heavy metals dissolved in the water.
