The WatPass® SHOWER FILTER protects against Legionella, viruses, cysts, bacteria and many chemicals.
Designed for under-sink installation, it can be used as a shower filter, in motorhomes and campervans, or for many other purposes. The filter can be used on its own or to supplement an existing filter system, to trap viruses and bacteria.
The water filter, featuring the patented Ahlstrom Disruptor® filter fleece, effectively filters out:
- Viruses (99.99%)
- Bacteria (99.999%)
- Cysts (99.95%)
- Microplastics
and many chemicals, thanks to the tried-and-tested, patented Ahlstrom Disruptor® filter material. The built-in Ahlstrom Disruptor® filter fleece is certified to ANSI/NSF 42 (29 February 2012).
The Disruptor water filter is the ideal addition when using filter systems that do not themselves retain bacteria. Thanks to its practical 1/2” female/male threaded connection, it can be used as a shower filter or, with the appropriate adaptors, in many other installation scenarios to provide reliable protection against bacterial contamination. The high water flow rate of up to 12 l/min is particularly noteworthy for showers, as standard shower filters often only achieve half this rate or less.
Note: As a great deal of water is used when showering, the filter’s capacity must be taken into account. The capacity is approximately 3,000 litres. This corresponds to around 50 five-minute showers. It is also ideal when travelling, to protect yourself from unpleasant odours in the shower.
