This GFP P200 PFAS CARBONIT® water filter cartridge fits in all Sanuno series countertop filter units, the WatPass® INOX, the AquaAvanti units and the Vario HP under-sink filter unit from Carbonit. The cartridge is also compatible with all Alvito water filter systems. Thanks to its special design and the use of the innovative "PFAS Adsorbers instrAction", this cartridge is a perfect solution if you want to filter PFAS out of the water.

The more than 4,700 PFAS chemicals include perfluorinated and polyfluorinated alkysubstances (PFAS), which are found worldwide and are produced by humans. These chemicals accumulate over time both in the human body and in the environment. Due to their longevity, they are also known as ‘perpetual chemicals’. Some PFAS can cause health risks.
The new CARBONIT combination cartridges combine the sintered activated carbon with the patented iA technology in the P 200 resin mixture. The specially developed mixture of resin and absorber material increases the retention capacity of the activated carbon block filters and enables the targeted removal of short and long-chain PFAS from aqueous media. The EPA's recommended limit values of 4 ppt (parts per trillion) for PFOA and PFOS are safely achieved. The radial flow in the filter ensures an optimised contact time and coordinated retention values. Compared to pure activated carbon or ion exchangers, both performance and service life are significantly improved.
Service life: The filter cartridge must be replaced after 6 months (in accordance with DIN 1988). In principle, 7,000 litres of water may be filtered within the 6 months. However, an earlier change may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early change is not a defect in the filter used, but an indication of an increased occurrence of fine particles in the unfiltered water.
