The new NeoSoft Connect 2500 soft water system from SYR with patented single-hose system and touchscreen. The system is ideal for detached houses with up to 3 residential units (up to approx. 6 people). Automatic adjustment of the operating mode The innovative and intelligent automatic adjustment of the operating mode is a real highlight. The integrated turbine of the NeoSoft water softener continuously measures the water consumption so that the intelligent system can always optimally adapt the operating mode to the water consumption. Whether ECO, STANDARD or POWER - the currently active mode is displayed on the system using LED colour coding.  Large salt tank with soft-close lid Filling the salt tank, which now holds 40 kg, is extremely convenient thanks to the new soft-close lid. This is a considerable improvement compared to the SYR Lex Plus 10 models. The salt level indicator informs you when it needs to be topped up. Leakage warning system The self-learning, integrated SYR leakage warning system is a real innovation. The system notifies you via push messages on your smartphone if a leak is detected in your domestic water installation. Of course, this requires the system to be connected to your smartphone. Modern communication If the NeoSoft Connect is connected to the internet via WLAN or LAN, it can be controlled via the SYR app. Registered users also receive push notifications when salt needs to be topped up, for example. If the raw water hardness changes, the NeoSoft Connect issues a warning.  Statistics such as water consumption, a logbook, maintenance settings and performance - the NeoSoft Connect can be operated via touchscreen and in online mode with the SYR app via tablet and smartphone and guides you through every process with clear displays. For convenient maintenance or longer periods of absence (e.g. holidays), the water softener can be bypassed without interruption if required. Simple installation The NeoSoft Connect offers everything for a time-saving and safe connection, as the flush and overflow hoses are already permanently connected to the system. The sandwich connection flange is placed on the SYR universal flange. The flexible, patented hose connection is fitted using a torsion-proof plug-in system. Then connect the rinsing and overflow hoses to the drain funnel included in the scope of delivery and fill with regenerating salt. The installation checklist shows whether the installation has been completed. The housing parts are made of impact-resistant thermoplastic, the rubber parts of age-resistant, hard-wearing elastomers. A low-lead, dezincification-resistant brass alloy and stainless steel are used for all other functional parts. The materials used comply with the recognised rules of technology. The plastic parts and elastomers that come into contact with water comply with the KTW guidelines of the German Federal Environment Agency. Installation If you already have a drinking water filter from the DRUFI system on the house connection, the connection is extremely simple. No installation work needs to be carried out on the water-bearing system! The descaling system is then simply screwed into the sandwich - DONE! A compact filter and softening unit or leakage protection unit is created from two fittings. And it's as simple as this Unscrew the DRUFI, flange on the connection fitting with integrated blending device, refit the DRUFI and connect the two hoses of the SYR Neosoft Connect 5000; an additional flange is not required. Installation location The water softener is installed centrally behind the water meter. To prevent malfunctions, the water softener is effectively protected by connecting a drinking water filter (Drufi system) upstream. From a pressure of 5 bar, a pressure reducer must be connected upstream. The water to be softened must be clear, free of solid impurities and free of iron and manganese (values within the scope of the German law). Maintenance As the water softener works automatically, salt only needs to be topped up regularly. According to DIN EN 806, Part 5, maintenance must be carried out at least once a year, and every six months for shared systems. A maintenance contract with a specialist installer ensures that the system continues to function reliably. We will be happy to explain more about this in a consultation. A few tips from us: Please clean the salt container at regular intervals to remove incrustations and only use high-quality salt. According to the Drinking Water Ordinance, regenerating salt in Germany must fulfil the purity requirements of: DIN EN 973 Table 1/Type A/Table 3. These are the most common causes of faults in water softening systems and are easy to avoid. This will prevent unnecessary, not inconsiderable costs that can be incurred by an installer or the customer service centre! Maintenance and commissioning by the customer service centre If required, you can have the recommended maintenance carried out by SYR's customer service.
