Connection kit for SYRLock flange DN 25

The new SYR NeoSoft Lock Connect I water softener from SYR, featuring a patented single-hose system, SYR Lock Sandwich connection fitting and a touchscreen. The system is ideally suited to detached houses with up to three residential units. Automatic adjustment of operating mode The innovative and intelligent automatic adjustment of the operating mode is a real highlight. The integrated turbine in the NeoSoft water softener continuously measures water consumption, enabling the intelligent system to optimally adapt its operating mode to water usage at all times. Whether ECO, STANDARD or POWER — the currently active mode is indicated on the unit via colour-coded LEDs. The unit is compatible with the SYR NeoDos 3200 Connect dosing pump, which can be used as an option if you have corrosive water. Control is managed via the water softener. Large salt tank with soft-close lid Filling the salt tank, which now holds 40 kg, is exceptionally convenient thanks to the new soft-close lid. This is a significant improvement compared to the SYR Lex Plus 10 models. The salt level indicator alerts you when it needs topping up. Leakage warning system A genuine innovation is the self-learning, integrated SYR leakage warning system. The system notifies you via push notifications on your smartphone if a leak is detected in your domestic water system. To use this feature, you will of course need to connect the system to your smartphone.  If you want even greater security, you can add the TRIO Lock Connect (backwash filter and leak protection) or the SafeTech+ Lock Connect (leak protection) to the system. In the event of a leak, these devices centrally shut off the main water supply at the point where they are installed. Modern communication If the NeoSoft Connect is connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or LAN, it can be controlled via the SYR app. Registered users also receive push notifications when, for example, salt needs to be topped up. If the raw water hardness changes, the SYR NeoSoft Lock Connect I displays a warning message. Statistics such as water consumption, a logbook, maintenance settings and procedures — the NeoSoft Connect can be operated via touchscreen and, in online mode, using the SYR app on a tablet or smartphone, guiding you through each process with clear displays. For convenient maintenance or during longer periods of absence (e.g. holidays), the water softener can be bypassed without interruption if required. Simple installation The SYR NeoSoft Lock Connect I provides everything needed for a time-saving and secure connection, as the flush and overflow hoses are already permanently attached to the unit. The SYR Lock sandwich connection fitting is fitted onto the SYR Lock flange (bayonet lock with mechanical safety catch). The flexible, patented hose connection is fitted using a torsion-resistant plug-in system. Next, connect the rinse and overflow hoses to the drain funnel supplied, and fill with regeneration salt. The installation checklist shows whether the installation has been fully completed. The housing components are made of impact-resistant thermoplastic, whilst the rubber parts are made of age-resistant, hard-wearing elastomers. For all other functional parts, a low-lead, dezincification-resistant brass alloy and stainless steel are used. The materials used comply with recognised technical standards. The plastic parts and elastomers in contact with water comply with the KTW guideline of the Federal Environment Agency. Installation The water softener is then simply screwed into the sandwich assembly – AND THAT’S IT! The two fittings combine to form a compact filter and water softening unit or leak protection unit. Installation location The water softener is installed centrally downstream of the water meter. To prevent malfunctions, the water softener is effectively protected by fitting a drinking water filter (Drufi system) upstream. A pressure reducer must be fitted upstream if the pressure exceeds 5 bar. The water to be softened must be clear, free from solid impurities and free from iron and manganese (values within the limits specified by the TWVO). Maintenance As the water softener operates automatically, the only maintenance required is to top up the salt regularly. In accordance with DIN EN 806, Part 5, maintenance must be carried out at least once a year; for communal systems, this should be done every six months. A maintenance contract with a specialist contractor ensures reliable, long-term operation. We would be happy to explain this in more detail during a consultation. A few tips from us: Please clean the salt tank of scale build-up at regular intervals and use only high-quality salt. According to the Drinking Water Ordinance, regeneration salt in Germany must meet the purity requirements of DIN EN 973, Table 1/Type A/Table 3. These are the most common causes of faults in water softeners and are easy to avoid. This will help you avoid unnecessary and potentially significant costs that might otherwise be incurred by calling in a plumber or the manufacturer’s customer service team! The high-quality SYRLock flange is unique on the market thanks to its simple, time- and cost-saving installation (bayonet lock). The SYRLock is available in DN 25 with an internal thread & DN 32 external thread. Also available SYRLock max in DN 40 and DN 50. Connection sets with external threaded screw connections in DN 20, 25 and 32 are available as accessories. There are, of course, also matching end caps in sizes DN 20–32 and DN 40–50. The SYR DRUFI Lock DFR is a combination fitting system specially developed for installation at the building entrance, comprising a semi-automatic backwash filter with a pressure reducer, a pressure gauge and a drain funnel (in accordance with DIN EN 1717). It combines state-of-the-art technology with the highest quality workmanship.   The innovative SYR Lock flange supplied is used for installation in the pipework. The flanges can be fitted to both vertical and horizontal pipes. The built-in pressure reducer allows for individual pressure adjustment and rounds off the outstanding features in a very compact design. The DRUFI Lock DFR consists of a mechanically operated, semi-automatic backwash filter. The pressure reducer cartridge is factory-set to an outlet pressure of 4 bar, although individual pressure adjustment is possible between 1.5 and 6 bar.   The filter cup is made from high-quality plastic and has won the Red Dot Award 2026: Product Design. The housing and the internal plastic parts are made from impact-resistant thermoplastic, whilst the rubber parts are made from age-resistant elastomers. All other functional parts are made from a low-lead, dezincification-resistant red brass alloy or stainless steel. The O-rings used are made from asbestos-free fibre materials.
