Innovation - Drinking water softening system in a cabinet housing with English menu navigation, color display for faster recognition of operating conditions & control head from Clack The WatPass® water softening systems are a real innovation. They work according to the ion exchange method. This procedure is the establishment test for water softening. Our systems are available in 2 variants: 1. Standard salting for normal households Best sensory result and adequate softening for the entire household. The WatPass® lime is particularly energy-saving! By salting the regenerating salt is used optimally. If you are using the system for technical applications, please note the following values ??when cutting. A perfect wash result for glasses is available at values ??of <150 µS / cm and for cutlery, the system should be set to <80 µS / cm. Your advantages: • no calcified heating rods & spray nozzles • better energy utilization of the devices 2. Swiss version For operation in Switzerland, the SVGW regulation must be observed. Therefore, the systems for Switzerland are supplied with nylon protective sock and silver resin. Otherwise, the system is designed as the standard version! Nylon protective stocking / fine salt: Normally, softening plants in Switzerland are used with fine salt instead of salt tablets. Water softening systems that we deliver to Switzerland are therefore equipped by us with a nylon protective stocking so that you can operate the softening systems with fine salt. As a result, a blocking of the salt in the system is excluded. Silver resin content (min 2%): The ion exchange resin must contain a minimum of 2% silver resin. Regeneration with ion exchange resin - how does it work? When hard water is passed over the resin, the calcium and magnesium ions (Ca2 + / Mg2 +) present in the water are exchanged for the sodium ions (Na +) present on the resin. The resin we use has a lifespan of over 20 years. Your advantages Softer water protects your installations, the heating system, washing machines and small appliances such as kettles and coffee machines. The limescale deposits on your shower enclosure, washbasins, toilets, etc. are greatly reduced. You can save significant amounts of detergent, soaps and shampoo and the water just tastes better. Especially tea lovers, coffee drinkers and ambitious home cooks will appreciate the result of softened water. Anyone who has used a water softening system would never want to do without it again. When does it make sense to use a water softening system? The DIN 1988-200 recommends in Table 6 above a hardness of 2.5 mol / m³ (14 ° dH) for drinking water cold hardness stabilization or softening. The water is not fully softened for drinking water purposes, but by means of the mounting block to a water hardness of about 6-7 ° dH, if technically possible, blended. If the water is even softer, it can become corrosive and thus pose a problem for the installations. Moreover, it does not taste that good either. Construction of water softening systems WatPass® A cabinet housing with removable lid, in which a GFK pressure bottle (filled with ion exchange resin) sits, form the basis for the extremely low-maintenance Clack control valve with color display and German operation. This is a real innovation and makes the handling of the system a lot easier. The system is of course volume controlled. The innovative valve can be disassembled and maintained completely without tools. Regeneration - what is it? If the pre-set volume of soft water flow is reached, regeneration of the resin will be triggered at 2:00 am. A reserve capacity is programmed by us as a safety factor in the unit, so that lime-free water is available after the pre-set water capacity has been reached, until regeneration. During regeneration, the water softener automatically routes saline (sodium chloride) through the ion-exchange resin. In this process, the resin is again afflicted with sodium ions (Na +). The calcium and magnesium ions (Ca2 + / Mg2 +) are derived with the saline solution via a separate drain port. Now the resin is ready to re-soften your drinking water. During regeneration, the WatPass® 320 delivers untreated tap water, so that the water supply is given. In case of inactivity of the plant (eg vacation) a compulsory regeneration is triggered every 10 days to prevent the germination of the resin bed. How long does a filling of salt last? Depending on the water hardness and your water consumption, a filling is enough for about 3-4 months, then new salt must be refilled. The integrated safety float valve protects you from overflowing water System size For households up to: 1-3 persons The WatPass® Kalk 320 water softening system consists of: A cabinet housing for a salt supply, depending on the required size of the system. A volume-controlled central control valve type Clack WS 1 CI, with English menu navigation and color display. If, as a well operator, you have low pH levels in your water and you want to use it as drinking water, the WatPass® pHGo offers you an excellent opportunity to increase the ph value in order to comply with the regulations of the Drinking Water Ordinance (pH 6.5-9, 5, TrinkwVo 2001/11). The system consists of a GRP pressure bottle, which is filled with a material for pH increase. A volume-controlled central control valve, type Clack WS 1 CI, currently represents the ultimate in control valves for such systems. Background Acidic water is corrosive. As the pH drops, the proportion of free carbonic acid increases, attacking all metals except stainless steel. This leads to leaks in the water installation over time. It also pollutes your drinking water with copper, zinc or aluminum. The WatPass pHGo contains a mineral that neutralizes the excess carbonic acid and immediately increases the pH value. The mineral is a consumable and must be refilled 1-3 times a year, depending on local conditions. Installation Behind the well pump or in front of the pressure vessel, if available. To ensure proper backwash, a pressure control must be installed in front of the neutralizer or a bypass of the existing pressure switch to allow the well pump to start delivering water when the neutralizer backwash valve is opened. Recommendation: To maintain the performance and service life of the device, a sediment filter should be installed. If the iron and manganese contents of your well water are too high and you want to use the WatPass IronGo, but the pH value is too low for the proper functioning of the device, then the WatPass phGo is the solution for this case! The WatPass phGo raises the pH of your well water to a level that allows the WatPass IronGo to be used for iron removal, even if the pH of your water is below 6.8. The installation is serial, before the WatPass IronGo and is very simple. Depending on the desired performance or the amount of well water to be treated, the WatPass phGo is also available in other versions. If the model offered by us does not fit, of course we can also sell you another, suitable device. Just ask us! Applications Well water, garden irrigation, laundries, hot water, koi and fish ponds and all areas where too low ph value of your water prevents iron ironing with the IronGo. Depending on the spatial conditions and equipment requirements, we recommend that you consider the purchase of the following accessories: Connection set 1 inch depending on system size 2x armored hose 1 inch ÜM x 1 inch ÜM, L = 1.000 mm; 1x drain hose, L = 2,000mm; 1x hose clamp 1/2 inch; 4x seals; 1x overflow hose, L = 2.000mm Connection set 1 1/4 inch depending on system size 2x armored hose 1 1/4 inch ÜM x 1 1/4 inch ÜM, L = 1.000 mm; 1x drain hose, L = 2,000mm; 1x hose clamp 1/2 inch; 1x overflow hose; L = 2.000mm; 4x seals Mounting block 1 inch IG x 1 inch AG with intersection, bypass function, sampling tap Note: A water analysis and determination of what the water should be used for is a prerequisite for good advice and the selection of the right filter system. Well water may be subject to variations in composition due to various environmental influences. Therefore, a regular analysis should take place to be able to adapt the filter devices by For example, the regeneration cycle is changed. Installation instructions for connection to public networks: If the WP ManganGo filter systems are to be used in the drinking water sector, they must comply with the "Rules for drinking water installations" according to DIN 1988 -200 in conjunction with DIN EN 1717: 2011-08. Then it is necessary to install a backflow preventer to protect the public drinking water network. Necessary installation conditions: Water connection socket 230 V / 50 Hz, waste water connection, pressure reducer at> 6 bar Transport and costs: The item is delivered to avoid transport damage by freight carrier.

The WatPass® IronGo deferrisation system oxidises dissolved iron from your water. The Clack control head with German menu and colour display distinguishes this system from many other suppliers, as usually only monochrome, English-language versions are offered. The colour modes of the display make it easier to check the operating status (blue = everything is OK). If there is an error (red = fault), you can see this at a glance. The German menu makes setting the system much easier. Nothing needs to be changed or topped up. The IronGo is therefore virtually maintenance-free. Its performance is outstanding, it can filter up to 5 mg/l of iron from the water. Installation is very simple. Even during the backwash, water can be easily removed. At a freely programmable time (approximately every 7 days), the concentrate is automatically disposed of through an outlet. A 3 metre drain hose is supplied and can be replaced with a longer garden hose if necessary. An additional mounting block (accessory) can be purchased for bridging, but is not absolutely necessary for operation, although it is highly recommended. This helps to maintain the water supply with untreated water during maintenance work. The system consists of: GRP pressure bottle in various sizes (adapted to the capacity), which is filled with high-quality filter material. The catalyser granulate is coated with manganese dioxide (MnO2). Volume-controlled central control valve type Clack WS 1 CI IA. How the catalyst granulate works Iron is usually present as bicarbonate in groundwater. Due to the excess carbonic acid, iron cannot be filtered. As a catalyser, the filter material causes the transition from soluble Fe2+ to insoluble Fe3+, the resulting oxidation product iron hydroxide is easily filterable. A pH value of at least 6.8 (preferably 7.0) is required to filter iron successfully, regardless of the filter material used. If the pH value of your water is too low, please contact us specifically. This must then be raised by additional filter technology as a first step. We then recommend the WatPass pHGO system. Necessary installation conditions: Water connection socket 230 V / 50 Hz, waste water connection, pressure reducer at > 6 bar Product Details Flexible, space-saving design Corrosion-resistant GRP pressure bottle High-quality filter material Computer-controlled Clack WS 1 CI IAValve Volume Control Extremely low maintenance Treatment of ferrous water Reduction of the orange-brown colour tone in the water Areas of application: Well water, garden irrigation, laundries, industrial water utilisation, koi and fish ponds and all areas where excessive iron content in the water causes problems The WatPass IronGo is available in different versions depending on the required performance or the amount of well water to be treated (the colour of the pressure bottle may differ in some versions). You can find these in the selection menu. Note: If the IronGo filter systems are to be used in the drinking water sector, they must comply with the ‘Rules for drinking water installations’ in accordance with DIN 1988 -200 in conjunction with DIN EN 1717:2011-08. It is then necessary to install a pipe separator to protect the public drinking water network.

During regeneration, the WatPass® 6000 delivers untreated tap water, so that the water supply is given. The WatPass® water softening systems are a real innovation. A perfect wash result for glasses is available at values ??of <150 ?S / cm and for cutlery, the system should be set to <80 ?S / cm.
