The Vario DUO-HP Basic-S from Carbonit is a high quality water filter housing in a two-stage configuration and serial arrangement, i.e. both cartridges are flown through one after the other. You can use it to filter lime and subsequently pollutants such as pesticide residues, drug residues and microplastics from your water in one go. It is also conceivable to use a sediment filter with a downstream activated carbon cartridge. This makes sense wherever increased deposits of sediment would otherwise clog the activated carbon filter too quickly. This often happens with well owners who want to make their water drinkable in their own garden or house.
With the Vario DUO-HP Basic-S you can put together the right filter combination according to your own needs. If you need support for this, we will be happy to advise you. All 9 3/4 "water filters from Carbonit or Prime Inventions fit into this filter housing. The device contains all the necessary components both for the branch from the cold water pipe and for connection to the tap (you may need to use the appropriate adapter yourself The hoses are connected to the device via easy-to-use quick-release couplings, so changing the cartridge is quick and easy. The IFP KDF is a combined activated carbon KDF cartridge. It combines the special properties of a sintered activated carbon monoblock with the patented technology of a NSF-certified filter granulate, KDF 55 from the USA. The 1.5 µm fine-mesh activated carbon block adsorbs the organic pollutants dissolved in the water and the filtration of Particles, while located in the center of the activated carbon KDF 55 is the additional removal or reduction of dissolved in water metal compounds.

The decalcifying cartridge improves the taste of cold and hot drinks (especially to improve the aroma of coffee and tea) and protects household appliances against calcification. The flowed through ion exchange resin, reduces the hardness of the water.The cartridge fits into the table top filter units "Mercuro" and "Jupitos" as well as the sub-filter housings of the “Vario HP” and “Pure"series. Use: The water flow should not exceed about 2 l / min., so that a noticeable decalcification is guaranteed. The possible duration of use depends on the degree of hardness of the input water. This filter cartridge has been manufactured based on the two-stage IFP Puro for Prime Inventions. It combines the special properties of a sintered CARBONIT® monoblock with a microfiltration of 0.15 µm through the inner capillary membrane. Even high pollutant-loads that could accumulate in the human body are reliably restrained. Minerals dissolved in the water are retained.
The EM Puro is ideal for low line pressure and allows to limit bacterial loads. The Sterotap® capillary membrane has been tested according to ANSI / NSF Standard53 (Cyst and Turbidity Reduction). The activated carbon block used has tested safety according to German food law and is processed in an environmentally friendly manner using renewable raw materials.
