Digital, mobile and elegant conductivity meter for hand measurements (measuring range: 0 - 2999µS/cm)
We deliver this easy-to-use, digital and compact conductivity meter in white colour. It has a four-digit, easy-to-read LCD display and fits in almost every pocket. It is used to determine the electrical conductivity in aqueous media, the so-called conductance. The measuring range covers a range from 0 to 2999 µS/cm. The values are very easy to read thanks to a large, green illuminated display. At values above 40 µS / cm the color changes automatically from green to red. It is therefore particularly suitable for checking the function of reverse osmosis systems. The model has two electrical conductivity probes that are built to be resistant to salt deposits. It is practical that an automatic switch-off after 40 seconds (power save mode) protects the batteries.
What is the conductivity?
It is the ability of a material to conduct electricity. The conductivity value is the sum total of the concentration of ions (anions and cations) in a solution that conduct electricity. It therefore provides information about the ionic strength of a solution, but not about the type of ions.
Areas of use and application of the conductivity meter
Conductivity is an important metric for many areas, including: for drinking and wastewater, in industrial manufacturing processes, for aquarium water and also in quality controls in the food industry.
