The intelligent automatic system of the SYR LEX Plus 10 Connect S ensures that saving salt does not waste a bit of salt and regeneration only takes place when it is needed. The entire system is automatically disinfected each time. For more convenient maintenance or longer periods of absence (such as holidays), the water softener can be easily bridged if necessary without interruption. The plant is optimally suitable for single-family homes up to 6 persons. With the system, a single-family household can save a few hundred euros a year. You will save cleaning agents, detergents, shower gel, hair shampoo, decalcifier for household appliances and, of course, maintenance costs for electrical appliances and installations in your household. The housing parts are made of impact-resistant thermoplastic, the rubber parts of age-resistant, durable elastomers. All other functional parts use low-lead, dezincification-resistant brass alloy and stainless steel. The materials used comply with the recognized rules of technology. The plastic parts and elastomers touched by the water comply with the KTW guideline issued by the Federal Environmental Agency. Installation A bypass and blending valve is already included in the delivery. If you already have a drinking water filter from the system DRUFI at the house connection, the connection is extremely easy. There must then be no installation work on the water-bearing system! The decalcification system is then simply screwed into the sandwich (see Figure 2) - DONE! The result is two fittings, a compact filter and softening unit. And that's how easy it is Disconnect the DRUFI, flange the connection fitting with integrated blending device, refit the DRUFI and connect the two hoses of the LEX Plus 10 Connect, no additional flange is required. Installation place The water softening system is installed centrally behind the water meter system. In order to avoid malfunctions, the water softening system is effectively protected by the connection of a drinking water filter (System Drufi). From a pressure of 5 bar, a pressure reducer must be connected in advance. The water to be softened must be clear, free of solid impurities and free of iron and manganese (TWVO values). Maintenance Since the water softener works automatically, you only have to refill salt regularly. In accordance with DIN EN 806, Part 5, maintenance must be carried out at least once a year. A maintenance contract by the specialized trade permanently establishes the safe operation function. We will gladly give you more information in a consultation. Some tips from our side: Please clean the salt container of incrustations at regular intervals and use only high quality salt. According to the Drinking Water Ordinance, regeneration salt in Germany must comply with the purity requirements of: DIN EN 973 Table 1 / Type A / Table 3. These are the most frequent causes of faults in water softening systems and are easy to avoid. This will prevent unnecessary, not insignificant costs that may arise through an installer or the factory customer service!
