Water filter cartridge EM Aquawhirler CARBONIT® - integrated swirling unit

Filter cartridges produced by CARBONIT® in cooperation with Prime Inventions combine water filtration with water taste improvement. A special EM ceramic is added to the activated carbon filter during the sintering process. Among other things, this ceramic reduces the surface tension of the water and the size of the cluster structures. As an absolute highlight, a water turbulence unit was installed in the cartridge. This means that most people describe the taste of the water as softer or rounder.

Based on the already proven cartridge EM Premium D, the EM Aquawhirler has an integrated whirling unit. This consists of high-quality POM material and is bacteria-repellent thanks to its special coating. This means that the risk of re-infection into the filter cartridge can be largely eliminated.

The EM Aquawhirler filter cartridge has a mechanical filter fineness of < 0.7 µm and a very high chemical-physical adsorption performance against chemical substances. The addition of approx. 5% EM ceramic gives it special properties. The filter cartridge is ideal for all customers who cannot or do not want to connect a water vortex to their faucet. By replacing the filter cartridge, you always have a clean new whirler. In the filter cartridge the whirling unit is integrated in the existing carbon block.

Service life

The filter cartridge must be replaced after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). In principle, 10,000 litres of water may be filtered within the 6 months. However, an earlier change may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. Early replacement is not a defect in the filter used, but an indication of the increased occurrence of fine particles in unfiltered water.
