UV-C replacement lamps for the UST UV water disinfection system

The UV-C water treatment systems of the Pure series, like all UV systems, require a regular change of the lamps in order to guarantee the disinfection performance during operation.

Change intervals

•     UV-C 21 watts: approx. 8000 hours
•     UV-C 40 watts: approx. 8000 hours
•     UV-C 50 watt: approx. 8000 hours
•     UV-C 75 watt: approx. 8000 hours
•     UV-C amalgam 120 watts: approx. 10,000 hours

What is UV water treatment?

Pathogenic bacteria or viruses can be inactivated with UV or UVC radiation. This means that they are no longer harmful to health! Treatment at a wavelength of 254 nm ensures fast, effective and safe disinfection. This process is economical and has been used worldwide for many years. With UV irradiation, germs can be safely used in water without the use of chlorine. The process is absolutely harmless and of course the water tastes much better than what has been treated with chlorine.

Maintenance

Replacement of the UV lamps approximately every 12 months The lamps can be easily loosened with screws and then pulled out for replacement.
