The Hydrocyclone F 710 was developed by engineers for the separation of sand and other sediments, originally for horticulture and agriculture.
The Hydrocyclone type F710 from the manufacturer Yamit is specially designed for the problem of silted wells. The hydrocyclone is mostly used in horticulture or agriculture and thus represents a profile solution. Therefore, we offer here the smallest version, as it will be more than adequate for most private well operators. The device works from a minimum throughput of 2.4 m³ / h - 4m³m / h. Please make sure that this service required for the operation is at your disposal. The device does not require an electrical or wastewater connection. In winter, it must be protected by venting against frost.
On the function of the hydrocylone
Water enters the hydrocyclone via the tangential inlet, creating a spiral flow along the filter walls. The centrifugal force separates the waste and sand particles and pushes them against the walls of the sand separator. These particles float down into the sedimentation tank while clean water flows upwards and exits through the upper outlet. The pressure loss is only 0.2 and 0.5 bar. The separation efficiency is not affected by the accumulation of dirt in the settling tank. The sedimentation tank is emptied by manually opening a purge valve for a few seconds. The collecting tank has a filling capacity of 2.5 liters.
Subsequent Filtratrion
As a subsequent filter, you should use a commercially available disc filter.
