Why should one use such a cartridge?

Hospital hygienists document how tap water can be a source of transmission in the case of legionella, pseudomonads and fungi (e.g. aspergillus). Scientific studies by the Institute for Hygiene and Public Health at the University of Bonn show that these stresses can occur not only in hospitals but also in the home. Of course, people with weakened immune systems are primarily at risk here. Filters at the "point of use" can provide protection.

Structure of the water filter cartridge

The cartridge consists of a CARBONIT Monoblock® (baked block filter, manufactured in the sintering process, awarded several times and scientifically recognized) and a capillary membrane (also called hollow fiber membrane) made of polyether sulfone. Such a high-quality, high-performance cartridge should not be confused with loose fillings of granulated charcoal or extruded blocks.

Due to this structure, the external activated carbon block with a fineness of 5 µm filters the pollutants and particles dissolved in the water through adsorption. The ultrafiltration membrane located in the center of the activated carbon holds back particles from a size of 0.00002 mm. This also applies to bacteria and viruses.

Standards

Internationally patented filter composition. For the filtration of bacteria, viruses and organic substances. Complies with ANSI / NSF Standard 53 (cyst & turbidity reduction) and EPA standard. The epdwa guidelines for a filter fineness of at least 1 micron (1 µm) nominal and a recommended filter change every 6 months are also observed. Everything for your safety!

For technical reasons, use is only permitted with cold water, protect against frost. Recommended filter change every 6 months.
